There may be three installments to this one.... which will make it a 'fuck-all' long Alphabet piece, but oh-well, what can you do. Here's the first part. I'm hoping that by posting this, it will force me to work on the end, which I have been avoiding. I do so hate to end the series. Oh well. Here's the first part of my 52nd alphabetic one-shot. Ah, how time flies.

Mmm... also M, getting slightly more M in the next installment. I blame Jacqueline Carey (which I was reading when I started this), Harry Potter (which I was mulling over when I restarted this... Mmm... Tom Felton, I would totally snog you), and a sinus infection (which has been plaguing me for the better part of a week. Grr), but my writing has been fairly dark lately.

::dude, i just re-watched "some assembly required". and that moment when zack recognizes max and drops alec, and max and zack just walk away with no further thought to our boy - that moment bothers me. is there any way you could fix that? like max realizes alec is part of her Unit and makes it up to him later that night.::

Sorry for the delay quirkies. My brain has been pushing me for smuttiness (in between ‘bouts of making me rewatch the awesome Taiwanese soap opera Devil Beside You), so working on something serious was like fighting a frickin’ tide. Actually, that was part of the problem, it ended up too serious, and I had to go back in and lighten it up. A lot. Anywho, here you go, and like always, sorry if it’s not what you were going for, but I hope you like it anyway.

 Also, Z may get changed from Zoo to something else. I dunno. So far I haven’t been able to come up with anything besides the predictable (i.e. Alec takes kid to zoo). I think I’ll have to change the prompt to really get my brain to strain. As it is the last letter in my second and final alphabet attempt, I want to do something that pops. Y has been halfway done for forever, but like I said; brain smuttiness. Stupid brain smuttiness.

 AAAAAAAAAAAND finally (I know: God, how many A/Ns is she going to put in here) my job-training-class-thing officially starts on Wednesday, and from what I’ve been told I’ll be hella busy for the first six weeks (or more) of it. So, I apologize in advance if my posts become even more sporadic. Here’s hopin’ they don’t stop all together. Right, on to the fic.

So, a quick twisted look into my life, as seen through a brief online convo with my sister;

Me: Hey, we don’t have any of the same friends (on lj).

Sister: Yeah, we don’t run in the same circles.

*pause*

 Sister: I think most of them like Logan.

 Me: Why, are they retarded?

 Sister (a Logan/Max fan): Hey!

Anywho, here's a letter from the alphabet, written by request for we_are_parallel who wanted something to do with Alec and Christmas. U is for Unit will be the next one done, I think. As always, I apologize if it's not what you were looking for, I go with what the muse gives me, and really it's y'alls own damn fault for requesting fics from a crazy person, anyway. ^_^

            -a situation where Max moves away from Logan on her own, without the sudden-realization-type plots like where she suddenly drops Logan after all her pining and starts with the oh-I'm-in-love-with-Alec thoughts all in a span of a day, and actually starts to move on? I'd love to see how Alec responds to Max dating different guys, since in a lot of the stories I've been reading has mostly Max watching Alec flirt with chicks while she glares and gets jealous. It makes me miss season 1 Max-

 

Random thoughts on the subject: Eh, I am guilty of this, but I’m not the worst offender, not by a long shot. Really, I'm worse about being an open-ender, stopping right at the cusp of the beginning of the relationship. Which is probably equally as frustrating. But still, I like the occasional sudden realization plots. Because that way I can get right to the sexing Happily Ever After. Still, keep in mind that this is a one-shot/drabble, and no matter what kind of backstory I try to lay in there, it’s still gonna seem like it goes by quick because it’s not a multi-chapter monstrosity. Anywho, here it is, a not so sudden plot in which I very graciously gave up on the sudden-Max-realization but kept the sexin’. I’m not really sure if this what you had in mind, anonymous lady person, but this is what my muse gave me. ^_^
