well... poop.
So, I haven't missed a deadline yet... but I guess there's a first time for everything... I've only got 20 pages done on Castaway 14 and yeaah. that's not nearly long enough for all the serious mojo I'm starting to hit you guys with... blarg. Under normal circumstances I'd be able to churn out 10 to 20 pages in time for tomorrow's deadline (which is actually why I set deadlines, it kicks my brain into high gear).. but life has a terrible habit of getting in the way... bastards at work fired two people and I suddenly find myself working 10 hour shifts... which is great for my wallet... but not so great for my writing time and/or creativity (see above; 10 hour shifts = brain dead Catie) ... so. yeah. I suck, but I don't suck too bad cuz update will still definitely be out this week.... Don't hate!

A/N2 (LJ exclusive): This chapter, 46 pages notwithstanding, was physically painful to write. I really didn't want them to go. :P
